Board of Directors of Syndicate Bank:

Shri.George Joseph: Shri.George Joseph has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director of Syndicate Bank, by Government of India. He has taken charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Syndicate Bank w.e.f. 02.08.2008.

Vinod Kumar Nayar: Shri.Vinod Kumar Nair has been appointed as Executive Director of Syndicate Bank by the Government of India. He has taken charge as Executive Director of Syndicate Bank on 8^th October 2008.

Shri.Ramchandran: Shri.Ramchandran has been appointed as Executive Director to Syndicate Bank by the Government of India. He has assumed the office on the 19^th December 2008.

Shri.Deena Dayalan: Shri.Deena Dayalan he is the nominee director representing Government of India. On the board and he holds a key position as Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor to Government of India, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi. He is a Post-Graduate in Chemistry and on MBA from Leeds University, UK.

Shri.K.Seetharamu: Shri.K.Seetharamu has been appointed as Director on the board of our bank by the Government of India w.e.f. 27.02.2007. Until further orders. Shri.Seetharamu is a graduate in Science. He is also associate of Indian Institute of Banks (AIIB). He has vast experience working over three decades in Reserve Bank of India as Chief General Manager in Reserve Bank of India he held important position in department of Banking supervision and Urban banks department. He is an expert in banking regulations and supervisions of commercial bank and co-operation bank and is a guest faculty in national institute of rural banking and Regional Institute of Co-operative Management, Bangalore since September-2002. He has authored a book of funds management and investment policy in Urban Co-operative banks he has participated in a conference on financial supervision at Franfort. Germany organized by a Bundes Bank Germany in 1999. He has also attended central banking course at Tokyo organized by Bank of Japan in 1992.

Shri Suresh kumar Rustagi, Director, Shri Suresh kumar rustagi has been appointed by the central government as workmen employee director on the board of our bank for a period of 3 years from the date of his appointment (i.e., 03.01.2007) or until his successor is appointed or till be leases to be a workmen employee of our bank whichever is earliest. The Suresh kumar Rustagi is a graduate BA (Hons) maths. He joined the bank on 03.12.21977 and has worked in various branches. He is presently working at cantonment branch new Delhi. He represents workmen employees on the board since 30.01.2007

Shri Dinkar S. Punja, Director Shri. Dinkar S Punja is a director nominated by canbal government representing office employees. He is graduate in fisheries sciences. He has been working in our Bank since 1978. He was on active member of syndicate Bank officer association. He is also a member of executive committee of all India Bank officers confederation.

Shri. Kawaljit Singh Oberoi, Director. Shri Kawaljit Singh Oberoi has been appointed as part time non- official director under charted accountant category on the board of our bank for a period of 3 years from the date of notification (02.01.2007).

Shri Kawaljit Singh Oberoi is a graduate in commerce (Honours) and a charted accountant since 1987. He is a partner in M/s Jolly & company, New Delhi based firms engaged in practice of charted Accountancy and financial consultants. Shri Kawaljit Singh Oberoi passes over 20 years of experience in audit and taxation consultancy.

He was a government nominee director of Bank of Maharastra for 3 years. He was chairman of Audit committee and member of management committee.

Ms. Shobha Oza. Director: Ms. Shobha Oza. Director nominated under sub section 3 (h) of section 9 of banking companies (Acquisition & Transfer undertaking) act 1970 for a period of 3 years from the date on notification or until her successor is nominated or until for the orders, whichever is the earliest vide GOI notification. Dated 2 Jan – 2007. Born in October 1965, Ms. Shobha Oza is M.A M.Phil in English language and literature from Devi Ahilya University Indore. She is actively involved in issue of public importance from her university days itself she has campaigned against the menace of drug abuse and insurgency in the North Eastern State of India.

She has visited US on the invitation of the US government to study the political set-up of United States and the various programmes conducted for the upliftment of women and children. She was the All India General Secretary of National Student Union of India from 1985 to 1972 and of the Indian Youth Congress from 1996 to 2000. Currently she is the State President of the Mahila Congress in Madhya Pradesh.

Shri.Ramesh L.Adige, Director: Shri Ramesh L. Adige is a Post Graduate in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing. He also holds a B.E. (Honors) Degree from BITS, Pilani presently he is the Executive Director of Ranbaxy Laboratories (India’s largest Pharmaceutical Company). Before joining Ranbaxy in 2004 he was Executive Director in Fiat India. He has also served as President of the Governing Council of Automotive Research Association of India. Shri.Adige has 33 years of extensive and wide ranging experience in the areas of Corporate Policy, Public affairs and Public policy strategic and perspective planning, Joint Venture Technical and Financial collaborations etc., His other interests include natural history ornithology and free planning.

Shri.Bhaskara Rao, Director: Shri Bhaskara Rao is a graduate in Commerce and a Chartered Accountant. He is a practicing Chartered Accountant since 1961. As a Proprietor of an BhasKara Rao and Com. Which is rated 25^th largest in India by an independent research agency he carried out inspection assignments on behalf of banking regulator. He has conducted special inspection of Global Trust Bank Ltd., on behalf of RBI. He was Chairman of Audit Committee and Member of Managing Committee in Punjab National Bank. He is currently associated with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA).

Shri.A.R.Nagappan, Director: Shri.A.R.Nagappan is a post graduate of Science. He has 36 years of experience in Banking. He joined Indian Bank as a Probationary Officer in 1970. During his service in Indian Bank he headed the operations at various levels. One becoming the General Manager in Feb-1998, heading the banks inspection department for a year from 1999 was heading the Personal / International / Banking / Treasury operations accounts and subsidiaries of Indian Bank in Indian Bank, he was actively associated in the preparation and implementation of the “Restructuring Plan” for successful turn around of Indian Bank. He was a member of in various committees of the IBA including its personnel committee. In Indian Overseas Bank he served as its Executive Director from 27^th August 2004 to 30^th April 2006. He was instrumental in strengthening the fundamentals of IOB to be rated as B++ positive by “Standard and Poor” on international rating agency. He visited several Asian, African and European countries on official work and for advanced banning.

Shri.Bhupinder Singh Suri, Director: Shri Bhupinder Singh Suri is a Diploma holder in Automobile Engineering. He was the Ex-Director of Syndicate Bank as Government of India Nominee during the period from 2001-2004. He is the Managing Partner of Gymkhana Service Station, New Delhi an authorized model retail outlet of BPCL which is the winner of “Sir Jamnalal Bajaj Uchit Vyavhar Puraskar 2000”. From Council for fair business practice. He is a member of high level delegation sponsored by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., on behalf of Government of India to visit Auto Mechanika fair held at Frankfort, Germancy. He was also a General Secretary for the Federation of All India Petroleum traders and trustee of Baba Harnam Singh of Langer Sahib Gurudwara Trust and represents Minority Sikh Community of Delhi. He is a Member of Indio-German Chamber of Commerce, New Delhi and Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Bombay.
