GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE

ICICI Lumbard Insurance Company  offer health insurance plans customized to meet the requirements of organizations/groups of people. These can be designed in consultation with the client and may be customized to meet their requirements.

COVERAGE

The product could be a combination of any or all of the following covers.

·                     In-patient hospitalization.

·                     Complex and common surgeries

·                     Health care

·                     Death and permanent disablement cause due to an accident.

ADVANTAGES

·                     The policy is suitable for a group of people exposed to similar kind of health risks.

·                     It is easier to administer and reduces the cost of management thereby passing the benefit of lower administrative charges to customers.

·                     It can be customized to a very large extent to suit the requirements of the insured.

PREMIUM

Premium for mass rural health and personal accident policies is fixed on the basis of various different criteria. Examples of such criteria are group size, age and occupational profile of the group, geographical factors, health care facilities in the area, previous claims experience for the group and other miscellaneous factors. The premium rate can be made available on request.

CLAIM PROCESS

A hospitalization cover can be offered on a reimbursement basis where the insured may submit a claim with due supporting documents and receive payment. Alternatively, the insured may also avail of cashless member or his family at network hospitals. At these hospitals the member his family can get treatment (as per the policy conditions) on presenting the health, which will be issued to them.

The member does not need to any cash upfront. On discharge, they need to sign the hospital bills for which ICICI Lombard will make payment to the hospitals.

The following documents may be required for claims servicing.

·                     Filled claim form

·                     Doctor's referral letter

·                     List of medicines

·                     Investigation report (X-report, other report)

·                     Discharge card/summary

·                     Receipt of payment made in lieu of final bill

·                     Other bill with receipt.
