Mysore Sales International Limited, popularly known as MSIL, is a marketing organization formed in 1966 to meet the marketing needs of Karnataka. Since then, the company has grown from, strength to strength, to emerge as a dynamic marketing force with a national presence and international reach.

Karnataka State Lottery :
Karnataka State Lottery was started in the year 1969, is governed by Karnataka State Lottery rules 1969, which was amended subsequently and is now called the Karnataka State Lottery Rules, 1999.
Government has appointed MSIL as its Sole Selling Agent for sale of lottery tickets. Karnataka State Lottery has a Managing Committee comprising of Finance commissioner and Secretary to Government of Karnataka as Chairman and other members appointed by the Government.
The Karnataka State Lottery is established as the "MOST TRUSTED LOTTERY".
Paper Division :
MSIL a flagship company owned by Govt. of Karnataka has been successfully meeting the demands of the students community for quality notebooks at affordable prices by providing "VIDYA" & "LEKHAK" note books since over 3 decades across the state of Karnataka.
VIDYA & LEKHAK note books have earned acclaim from students community and has become a household name for note books in Karnataka.
VIDYA & LEKHAK note books are made out of superior quality paper for smooth and pleasure writing with sturdy straw board cover and attractive outer wrapper.
VIDYA & LEKHAK stands for quality, affordability, durability and gives value for money.
MSIL supervises manufacturing of notebooks to ensure quality parameters are adhered to at the time of notebooks conversion to fulfill the aspirations of several million students.
Apart from students note books, drawing and graph books MSIL also offers range of school and office stationery including school bags for children. The school bags offered by MSIL is well received by the students community for its quality, durability at reasonable prices.
MSIL is also planning to introduce other learning kits, CDs etc for the benefit of students in the days to come.
Tours & Travels – Taking people places
As a IATA approved travel agent, this Division caters to the travel needs of State Government officials State Boards and Corporation. In association with Orbit of Mumbai, MSIL has been promoting package tours to various trade fairs abroad The Division is also a Booking Agent for the conducted tours of ITDC, KSTDC and Jungle Lodges and Resorts Limited, to take tourists to enchanting places in Karnataka and beyond. The Division is also an Authorised online booking centre of KSRTC
