SERVICES IN KARNATAKA BANK

HONEY DEPOSITS (HD) (at select branches)

This account is ideally suited to Traders, Shop Keepers, Doctors, Lawyers, Industrialists and others having daily or weekly income. Contributions are collected by the Honey Deposit Canvasser of the branch free of charge. The depositors can also directly credit the amount to their respective Honey Deposit account. As a matter of policy, In case of cessation of the services of the existing HD canvasser of the branch, for whateever reason, the bank does not undertake to make alternative arrangement for collection of the daily/weekly contributions, at door step.

ABHYUDAYA CASH CERTIFICATE (ACC):

Ideal for those who do not need periodical interest. Interest is compounded on quarterly rests.

CUMULATIVE DEPOSIT ACCOUNT (CD):

This scheme is suitable to those who are having fixed monthly income. In this scheme the depositor can contribute a fixed sum on monthly basis over a stipulated period.

FIXED DEPOSIT ACCOUNT (FD):

This is ideal for those who desire to have periodical income by way of interest on their funds. Minimum Amount of deposit Rs. 100 and in multiples of Rs. 10 thereafter. Maximum amount- No Limit. If the amount to be deposited on a single day is Rs. 50,000/- or more, then the depositor either shall furnish PAN or shall give declaration letter in F.No. 60 (for Non-agriculturists)/ F.No. 61 (for agriculturists) in triplicate.

SOUBHAGYA DEPOSIT:

In this deposit scheme, the depositor can withdraw the funds as and when required, in blocks of Rs. 1,000/- each, without closing the account. Interest not payable in case of units withdrawn before completion of 15 days block.

KBL-TAX PLANNER-FD and KBL-TAX PLANNER-ACC:

The schemes provide dual benefits of high returns and tax exemption under Section 80 © of the Income Tax 1961. The salient features of the new Deposit schemes are Minimum Rs. 100/- and multiples thereof and maximum Rs. 1, 00,000/-. Period of investment is for 5 years only.

1. Presentment Type Biller: for these billers, the bill amount and due date will be presented to them online on http://www. Karnatakabank.com/ and a reminder will be sent to their on e-mail.

2. Payment type Biller:

For these billers the customers can register and pay any amount immediately.

3.Online shopping

Karnataka Bank has tied up with move than 75 organizations to facilitate online shopping for all its internet banking customers. The customers have to choose their products online and pay conveniently through Karnataka Bank internet Banking Service.

4.Ticket Booking

The Customers can now book their Railways and Air ticket online the customer’s can now buy their tickets online and pay using the bank’s internet banking facility. Karnataka bank has tied up with IRCTC (for Railway ticket booking and Air lines) for air ticket booking.

on to the site the customer can see his / her displayed payment amount and

payee details.

The customer will be required to confirm the transaction. The entering transaction

password on successful authentication. The customer’s bank account will be

immediately debited and payment confirmation number
